BRAOU Hosts Orientation on Personality development and career opportunities.

Empowering Women Through Education: Prof. G. Pushpa Chakrapani 
 Hyderabad, March 15, 2026: Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Open University, Prof. G. Ram Reddy Centre for Research & Development (GRCR&D) organise Orientation Program for Women Students on "Personality Development & Career Opportunities" (as a part of G. Ram Reddy Memorial Activities (GRAMA)) at, Indira Priyadarshini Government Degree College For Women on March 15, 2026 on Sunday.

 Prof. G. Pushpa Chakrapani 
Director Academic, BRAOU attend as Chief Guest for the program. She spoke extensively on the university's rapid progress and the transformative vision of the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Ghanta Chakrapani. She highlighted the VC's commitment to making BRAOU a "hub for skill development" rather than just a degree-granting institution. Under his leadership, the university has embraced digital transformation and strategic MoUs with organizations like WE-HUB to ensure students are industry-ready. She urged students to utilize the 'Samata' scholarship for empowerment and the 'Nipuna' scholarship for skill-based training. 

 Prof. H. Srinivas Rao (Retd.) 
Dept. Of Commerce, Indira Priyadarshini Government Degree College For Women, Nampally, Hyderabad was the Guests of Honour for the program. He focused on the mechanics of achievement. He challenged students to embrace "Practical Knowledge" over rote learning and shared his "4 Ps" formula for success: Planning, Preparation, Practice, and Presentation. He asserted that while we cannot control our birth, we have the absolute power to choose our careers and shape our own futures through disciplined decision-making. University Progress and Support: 

 Prof. E. Sudha Rani, 
Director (GRCR&D), BRAOU preside over the program. She said the high-impact orientation program today for women learners at the Indira Priyadarshini Government Degree College for Women. The event, titled "Personality Development & Career Opportunities," brought together academic leaders and industry experts to inspire students toward self-reliance and professional excellence. She urged students to "Dream High." She emphasized that while the university provides the platform, the onus is on students to leverage these opportunities. Prof. Rani highlighted BRAOU’s mission to serve vulnerable groups, stressing that the ultimate goal of education is to foster self-respect through financial independence, creating an identity beyond traditional social roles. 

 Guest Speaker, Annie Vijaya J, Director - WE ENABLE Program- WE HUB said the university’s collaboration with WE-HUB is designed to bridge the gap between "Campus and Career." She stressed that students must evolve from being job seekers to becoming job creators. Key points from her address included: The WE-Enable Program: A structured intervention that provides female students with industry immersions, personalized mentoring, and skill-based training. Entrepreneurial Mindset: She encouraged students to identify "local problems" and turn them into "business solutions," utilizing the technical and financial support provided by the state-led incubator. Practical Advice: She shared three pillars for professional growth: "Don’t hesitate to ask for help," "Understand your financials," and "Network with purpose." Global Readiness: Through the WE-Enable initiative, she explained that students can access internships and live projects that make them globally competitive.
