SAMATHA FREESHIPS FOR ADIVASI AND TRANSGENDER STUDENTS AT BRAOU

Hyderabad, April 13, 2026: Shri Shiv Pratap Shukla, Hon’ble Governor of Telangana and Chancellor, BRAOU will participate as the Chief Guest in the “Samatha Fellowship Award Ceremony” jointly organized by Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Open University and Jyothi Reddy Foundation Fellowship (JRFF) at its campus on Tuesday. On this occasion, the Governor will present the SamathaFreeships. offered by the Jyothi Reddy Foundation to Adivasi and transgender students currently pursuing their studies at the university. Dr. Banda Prakash, Deputy Chairman, Telangana Legislative Council, will attend the event as a Distinguished Guest. Prof. Ghanta Chakrapani, Vice-Chancellor, Dr.B.RAmbedkar Open University will be preside over the ceremony. Smt. D. Jyothi Reddy, Founder and President of the Jyothi Reddy Foundation will be the Guest of Honour; Prof. Pushpa Chakrapani, Director Academic; and Dr. Y. Venkateswarlu, Director, Student Services Branch will be present on the occasion. This event is being organized with the specific objective of fostering social empowerment among Adivasi and transgender students. The primary aim of the program is to encourage the educational and social advancement of eligible students by presenting them with awards through the Jyothi Reddy Foundation Fellowship. The academicians and social organizations and other have been invited to attend this event.
