• BRAOU Signed MoU with Common Services Centres (CSC)
Hyderabad, September 17, 2026: Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Open University (BRAOU) and Common Services Centres (CSC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the University campus to facilitate easy access to higher education and digital services for University learners. The MoU was signed by Dr. L. Vijaya Krishna Reddy, Registrar, BRAOU, and Sri Madan Mohan Rout, Senior Vice-President & State Head, Telangana, CSC, in the presence of Prof. Ghanta Chakrapani, Vice-Chancellor, BRAOU, along with other officials and members.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Ghanta Chakrapani, Vice-Chancellor stated that the University is taking key decisions to promote technology-enabled education and make higher education accessible to all in the era of globalisation and digital transformation. He said that the MoU with Common Services Centres is an important step in this direction. He further stated that this partnership with CSC would bring the University's academic programmes and digital services closer to learners, particularly those residing in rural and remote areas. He said that the MoU would further strengthen BRAOU's efforts towards transforming into a Digital University and would help make quality higher education accessible to students not only across Telangana but also in other parts of the country in the coming days. He also revealed that the partnership would enable students to easily access information and services related to the University's academic programmes through the 12,000 CSC centres operating across Telangana. Prof. G. Pushpa Chakrapani, Director (Academic); Prof. Pallavi Kabde, Coordinator, Skill Development and Vocational Training Centre; Prof. D. Rabindranath Solomon, OSD to the Vice-Chancellor; Dr. Vignesh Sornamohan, Sr. Vice President, CSC SPV; Srinath Sudhamsu, DGM, Telangana; Prof. I. Anand Pawar; Prof. Rani Rajita Madhuri; Prof. Rajani; Prof. P. Venkata Ramana; Dr. Y. Venkateshwar; and other Directors, Deans and Heads of Branches were present on the occasion.
