WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY ORGANISED AT BRAOU

Hyderabad, June 5, 2026: Dr.B.R.Ambedkar Open University, organized World Environment Day at its campus at Jubilee Hills on June 5, 2026. Prof. Ghanta Chakrapani, Vice-Chancellor, planted saplings in the Prof. G. Ram Reddy Memorial Precinct, located in front of the EMR&RC building at the university campus. He emphasized that environmental protection is a collective responsibility and suggested that the importance of the environment must be taught to students in educational institutions. University Registrar Dr. L. Vijaya Krishna Reddy, along with Prof. Anand Pawar, Prof. Ravindranath Solomon, Prof. P. Venkataramana, Prof. G. Dayakar, Directors, deans, heads of various branches, teaching and non-teaching staff, and representatives of employee associations, participated in the event and planted saplings on the campus.
